Plymouth Parkway bowed out of the Devon St Lukes Bowl in an unlucky fashion after matching Southern League South & West table toppers, Bideford. After a goalless first half at a wet Bolitho Park it was Parkwy who took the lead when Ben Joyce opened the scoring after 62 minutes. The visitors drew level some 6 minutes later when Jamie Mudge found the target. At 90 minutes and with the score 1-1 the game went straight to penalties, extra time is not used in the St Lukes. The regulation first 5 spot kicks for each side saw both sides score 3 each meaning a sudden death penalty shoot out. Sam Hillson for Parkway failed to score and that gave Jack Furzer the chance to send Bideford through to the last 8 and knock brave Parkway out.
