Result/Match Report Parkway v Gillingham Town

Hobbsy struck twice in quick succession, an own goal, and one apiece from trialist Fode Diaby, Dennis Mason, and Chris Wright saw off 10 man Gliingham. Gillingham were down to 10 on half time when their striker lived up to his position, striking Matt David, who hadn`t let him have a kick of the ball in the first half. The ref issued a red card (the player had previously been shown the yellow card)
Gillingham improved in the second half and made more of a game of it until the extra man told. Chris Wright missed two simple chance he would normally have buried, but that`s pre season for you.
Result/Match report Vospers Away.

Vospers proved a good test for an opener. we eventually took the lead from Good work by Brooksie and Sargie, before the ball came to Doely on the far post to finish.
Vospers then scored two quick goals, and added a third to take the lead. New boys Mason and trialist Ben Joyce showed up well. Kracky scored a brilliant lob (a la Cantona) for our second, and Joycie got our third. The scoring was completed when Brooksie was felled in the area, before getting up and putting the penalty wide of the keeper to give us the win.
A few teething problems need to be ironed out before our next test.
